The tour begins at the Porta Hotel del Lago in Panajachel. We walk to the public pier to board a boat that will take us across the stunning Lake Atitlán to Santiago Atitlán, surrounded by volcanoes and sacred mountains.
From the Santiago pier, we take a communal pickup truck along a scenic route to the King Tepepul Park viewpoint. This ride is ideal for enjoying the mountain scenery and lush vegetation.
We begin a hike along nature trails through the cloud forest. During the tour, we’ll learn about the park’s biodiversity and the importance of preserving the lake’s ecosystems.
We arrive at the waterfall hidden in the park’s jungle. This place invites contemplation and a spiritual connection with nature. It’s ideal for taking photographs, cooling off, and relaxing with the sound of running water and birdsong.
