This tour is designed for those seeking a deep connection with nature, silence, and the ancestral wisdom of the Tz’utujil people. Starting early in the morning, we hike to the famous Rostro Maya viewpoint , located in the mountains of Santa Clara La Laguna. Upon reaching the summit, we welcome the sunrise with a breathtaking view of Lake Atitlán and its volcanoes. We then return to San Juan La Laguna, where a short cultural hike complements this mystical and natural experience.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
From San Juan, we take local transport to Santa Clara (20 minute journey).
. We begin the ascent along trails surrounded by forest and mist. The hike takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, guided by local experts.
We witness one of the most spectacular sunrises in the country, with a panoramic view of the volcanoes and Lake Atitlán.
We enjoy a hot drink of your choice ( hot chocolate or coffee ) accompanied by artisan bread , while we explore the top of the viewpoint.
We resume the road towards Santa Clara and then return to San Juan La Laguna by local transport.
A light tour of the town’s murals, art galleries, and textile cooperatives, learning about daily life and local art.
We take the boat back to Panajachel, ending the tour at the same starting point.
