Tikal is the largest excavated archeological site in the American continent and the most famous cultural and natural reserve in Guatemala. It fascinates everyone! This majestic archaeological jewel comprises 222 square miles of jungle around the ceremonial center. The University of Pennsylvania spent 13 years discovering 10 square miles of structures at Tikal. Nevertheless, much remains to be discovered. Tikal remained a mystery for centuries, been abruptly abandoned by the Mayans more than 1000 years ago and covered by jungle.

You will be able to meet the Guatemalan jungle. We suggest bringing mosquito repellent, sunscreen, preferably a long-sleeved but fresh shirt and pants, a hat or a cap. Don’t forget your passport.
You will start the adventure with transportation from Antigua to the Airport to take the plane to Flores, Petén. When arriving at Flores, you will have another transportation service to Tikal and meet with the guide that will be with you in the park´s tour. You will be able to enjoy a delicious lunch and also a free afternoon to visit the park surroundings and museums. Next day, you will be able to enjoy breakfast in the hotel´s restaurant and also be able to explore Flores island.
