Acatenango is also known as one of the 3 sisters, being next to the Fuego Volcano. It is the third biggest volcano in Guatemala with a height of 3,976 m.b.s.l.

When climbing the Acatenango Volcano in Guatemala, you can expect a demanding climb, with variable weather conditions and uneven terrain. It is advisable to be in good physical condition.
Leaving from Antigua G. we go directly to San Miguel Dueñas to the slopes of the volcano where the entrance is located to begin our climb.
