Chocolate and Wine

Chocolate and Wine

The Mayans considered cocoa as a product extraordinary for food and drink and faith used
as currency. In Guatemala there is a Mayan treasure of cocoa pots, which represent Mayan
royalty participating in rituals in which he prepared and drank cocoa.

We will drive to San Juan del Obispo where we will visit the Chocolate factory Antigua then we will do the Nispero wine tasting in this same place. We will visit the local church and convent, as well as the central square to observe Antigua Guatemala from another angle. We finished with a typical lunch of our city (pepián).
